DESCRIPTION

The detection kit explains SARS-CoV-2 is a nucleic acid test in vitro (NAT) – product based on pathogen detection and is designed to detect SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19, 2019-NCOV virus ) and SARS coronaviruses in human biological samples with polymerase chain reaction method (PCR).

DETECTION CHANNELS
⁍ FAM for SARS-like Coronaviruses
⁍ HEX for internal control (RNA-IC)
⁍ ROX for SARS-CoV-2 E-Gene
⁍ Cy5 forSARS-CoV-2 N-Gene

THE STRIP FORMAT
Primer-Probes-Mix is pipeted in 0.2 ml white tubes arranged in strips and sealed with paraffin. For the preparation, the respective number of tubes can be easily cut. The extracted DNA / RNA and the RT-MIX must be pipetted in the tubes, close the tubes with plugs and run the test. The tubes are medium profile tubes.

SAMPLES
⁍ Nasopharyngeal swabs
⁍ Oropharyngeal swabs
⁍ Bronchoalveolar washing
⁍ Endotracheal suction
⁍ Nasopharyngeal suction
⁍ Expectorations

VALIDATED THERMOCYCLERS
⁍ ExpLine 48 or ExpLine 96 (MEDICEXPERT, France),
⁍ CFX96, iQ5 iCycler (Bio-Rad, USA),
⁍ DT96, DTLite (DNA-Technology, Russie).
Rotor-Gene 3000, Rotor-Gene 6000 and Rotor-Gene Q (Qiagen, Allemagne)
